The Social Bookmarking Tool can be used after creating content such as a blogⁱ entry or article on BIZxUSA. You may then view the content you have submitted. At the bottom of each article, blog entry, or other content, you'll see a group of links. There are two options for sending your content to social bookmarking sites. The first is the "Share" drop-down, which is a quick and easy way to send minimal information to all social bookmarking and social networking sites. The second option is to click on the "Social Bookmark This" link to submit the content you are viewing to social bookmarking sites.

The "Social Bookmark This" link is more comprehensive than the "Share" dropdown. The "Social Bookmark This" link will display a list of all of the social bookmarking sites available. This list is ordered by "PageRank," which ranks the popularity of the site. There are also links to read the rules and sign up for each site for convenience. Just click on the name of the site to which you would like to submit the content in the left-most column. On the next page, there will be a final link or button to complete the submission. This will automatically submit as much information as possible to the bookmarking site (including the teaser of your content as a description, when available).

The summary, or teaser, for your content will be sent to the bookmarking site, and will auto-fill in the description or summary area. You will have the option to change it on any bookmarking site. You can edit the teaser sent to these sites by clicking the "View in new window" link below a content item, clicking the "Edit" tab, then clicking the "Split summary at cursor" button. This will allow you to enter a summary or teaser that will be sent to the bookmarking site as a description, and will also display in lists of your content on BIZxUSA. You may include the teaser at the top of the main body of your content by clicking the "show summary in full view" checkbox.
